Neutrinos from the Fermi-Bubbles. A Combined Analysis of Track and Shower Events with the ANTARES Detector.(pdf)

Initially neutrino telescopes like the ANTARES telescope focussed on the recconstruction of tracklike muon neutrino events providing good direction resolution. Meanwhile software exists to reconstruct also shower events with reasonable accuracy and first diffuse flux analyses using showers have been carried out. However, thus far all analyses with the ANTARES telescope have looked at either tracks or showers. The talk will give an overview over recent work on the search for neutrinos from the Fermi-Bubbles with a combined track and shower analysis and its prospects of improving the sensitivity of a previous track-only analysis.
